He comes with a track record of opening and establishing hotels and turning around underperforming hotels. He is currently the General Manager of Le Royal Meridien Chennai.

Mr. `Pawan Kumar Gupta - Our Vice President comes over with 25 years experience in the field of Travel Industry and as served in various positions in the Tourism Industry as a office bearer of TAAI, SKAL & TTM. He has won many laurels from Tourism boards and Airlines.

Mr. Shafee Ahmed, Our Secretary has close to 3 decades of hospitality experience. Having passed out of hotel school and culinary being his passion started his career from Holiday Inn, Bangalore. He has specialized in sales & marketing as well by heading the function in some successful hotels like Raintree, Asiana and k. Raheja hospitality. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from National Institute of Sales. He’s also been a successful entrepreneur by establishing his hospitality brand called Purpletree. .Currently, he is the general manager of E-Residences and hotels, Chennai

Mr. Mohammad A. Aarif, Our Jt Secretary is the Director of Parveen Travels, with over 30 years of notable experience in the transport, tourism and hospitality industry. Parveen Travels with over 50+ years in business of intercity buses, Hire & Rentals, Express logistics and Holidays. A 10 time National tourism award winner along with other prestigious awards, Parveen Travels with its entire team continues to transcend as the industry’s best.

Dr. M.K. Ajit Kumar, Our Spokesperson is the President of Global Conference Management Group which is a Professional Conference Organizer. Dr. Ajit is also the Chairman of World Tourism Quiz Pvt Ltd & is a PhD in Applied Economics from the Cochin University of Science & Technology. Dr. Ajit worked in the Union Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India in the commercial wing( ITDC) for 20 years prior to setting up his own company

Mr. Shabin Sarvotam, A hotel professional with 33 years of experience in the trade. He has an excellent record of successfully handling some of the prestigious hotels in South India. Shabin has been a part of famous GRT hotels and resorts for more than a decade. Photography and cooking are some of his key interests.

Pankaj Katyal,Our Jt. Secretary is a hospitality professional with more than 25 years of experience. He comes from a very strong business development background and for last 8 years has been part of hotel operation too. He has worked in various roles ranging from Head of sales to General Manger of hotels. He has worked with some of the reputed international brands like Marriott, Hilton & IHG.

Mr. Krishnakumar Menon, Our treasurer is a very successful hotel professional with more than 30 years of experience. Having passed out of IHMCN, Hyderbad went on to join Taj Group of Hotels and worked with them for close to 10 years. He has been associated with Green Park Hotels as Senior General Manager before being associated with Starwood and Marriott Hotels and Resorts handling their Aloft Brand in Chennai for over a decade. Currently he is Chief Executive Officer of Hotel Aadithya, Chennai.

Mr. B.Gopinath is the Chief Operating Officer of The Residency Hotels. An Alumnus of IHM- Chennai, Gopinath Started his career with The Taj group of Hotels, Hotelier for Over 30 years, presently leading the operations for The Residency Hotels and Residency Resorts Male’ Private Limited which owns the St.Regis Resort at Maldives. Driving Continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and augmenting margin growth are his strength.

Sunthosh NM is the CEO of Stage3 one of South India leading Events and Conference organizer. He has organsied over 7000 events over a span of 23 years. Sunttosh NM is the current President – IESA Tamilnadu Chapter & VP South – IESA. Under his leadership the Tamilnadu Chapter grew from 35 members to 160 members in a short span of 14 months. He is also an active member in ICPB and AITO.
